Well, I binge watched the rest and will give you my thoughts, minus spoilers, if I can.
Overall, It's solid. Good cast, good story, great action. The story was good, but not great. Jessica Jones was a great story, Luke Cage, even better. I'd grade Iron Fist with Daredevil, both good stories.
Cast was good, especially Ward, he was outstanding. I think he watches The Walking Dead, because he has the same crazy light in his eyes when things are spiraling out of control. Danny was good,not great. Luke Cage was great, The Purple Man in Jessica Jones (David Tennant) was out of this world good.
The action was outstanding, as it should be. Iron Fist is a martial arts story and the martial arts should reflect that. That's what helped the story get a good rating from me, in that the pinning of his martial arts skills to his training and the Iron Fist to his chi, was spot on from the comics. Plenty of eastern thought in this production.
Looking to the future, I will look forward to another season of Iron Fist. It's enjoyable to watch and Marvel's storytellers are pretty dang good. I'm interested mostly, in how they will bring together Iron Fist, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones in The Defenders. Hopefully, I suppose I will have to trust in Marvel's writing, it won't be a hokey throw together. I'm figuring the character of Claire will be the factor that draws them together, she was in all the shows.
Anyway, peace out folks, back to Roguehunter and maybe catch up on Firefly and Serenity.
