This being my first post on the Pandamoon blog, I thought I should introduce myself.
I'm Rachel Sharp, also known across the internet as WrrrdNrrrdGrrrl. I write weird books. I do a lot of other things, too (play ukulele, dote on houseplants, manage chronic illness), but few of them are relevant here. There may be occasional crossover with my sociopolitical writing. Or, I may end up doing one blog post a week about comic books. I'm honestly not sure yet. Could be both. Could be anything. You never know, with me.
The book that brought me to Pandamoon is called Phaethon. I'm still not sure if it's fantasy with sci-fi elements, or the other way around. It features a hacker couple, Jack and Rosie, along with a variety of fae, including the raccoon-like bogle Calthine and sirens with tattooed knuckles. These characters come together because big iron jerk-faeries are trying to enslave all forms of life, and someone has to stop them.
I mentioned that I write weird books, right?
At any rate, it's the middle of the holiday season, and I'm sure you have things to do, so I'll keep this short in the interest of everyone's cookie-eating free time.
